Financial agreements
A financial agreement is a contract executed between spouses to regulate the financial/property relationship between the parties, both during the marriage and in the event of dissolution of marriage.
The majority of financial agreements concern what shall occur upon separation and divorce, regarding property that each spouse owned prior to marriage or that each received as a gift or inheritance during the marriage, and concerning the manner of division of property that the spouses accumulated during the marriage.
